ENERGIZE CHILDREN’S
LIVES with Diane M. Jaffari
Diane was a classroom teacher
for 38 years and holds Masters degrees in Education and Clinical Psychology. Throughout
her career she taught K-8th grades, with the majority in grades K-2nd.
She now does on-going tutoring and consultations with families. She has
3 children, 4 grandchildren, and over a thousand children and parents she will always consider as hers, too.
When she began her teaching
career in 1957, she truly had no idea how joyful and productive it would be! Her
children’s enthusiasm for learning was an energizing force, constantly motivating her to create stories, poems, games,
and learning strategies to enhance the curriculum.
The longer she taught the
more empathy she experienced for parents and teachers who constantly strived to fulfill their responsibilities of meeting
the children’s needs at all levels.
Even though she’s retired
from the classroom, she realizes that teaching and learning is a life long journey.
We are all teachers and students all the time. Exciting thought, isn’t
it?!!
